OKidokie, here's some more...it's has a lot of Gavin in it.....:P
Background: Gavin and Nicolle have been dating for about 4 months. Gavin can see Sky REALLY likes Nicolle. He can also see that Nicolle adores Sky, but he's too dumb to understand she only likes Sky as her best friend. So Gavin, being the jeleous numbskull he is, has decided to try and stop Nicolle from being around Sky anymore. Gavin lives at home because he is going to college and he wants to save money that way. Kellie and Heather are his 6 year old twin sisters and Jamie is Nicolle's 12 year old brother...and this is in Nicolle's point of view...
Gavin puts his arm around my shoulder and presses the mute button, silencing Judge Judy in the middle of a sentence.
"Can we talk?" He asks. He turns his face down to mine, those gorgeous green eyes smothering me.
My stomach drops. I've never seen Gavin so serious looking. "Sure." I say.
"I want to talk to you about Sky." Gavin pauses as Kellie and Heather stampede down the stairs, shrieking.
The twins notice us sitting on the couch and they freeze, staring at us, their big bright eyes shining with curiosity.
"Hi, Nicolle." Kellie grins.
"Hi." I give her a small smile.
Gavin huffs. "Guys, go find Mom. Leave us alone, please." He snaps.
The girls frown identical frowns. "Why?" Kellie asks, as Heather shakes her head.
"We're talking."
Heather and Kellie don't move.
Gavin takes my hand in his and pulls me off the couch, then drags me out the front door, closing it behind us.
I laugh. "They're so funny."
Gavin's eyes roll. "They're annoying."
We sat next to each other on a wooden bench on the porch, our hands still pressed together.
Gavin pauses, then starts talking. "OK, as I was saying--"
He stops as the front door opens just a crack and Kellie's brown eyes stare out at us.
Gavin stands up abd marches to the door, making Kellie squeal and run away. Gavin pokes his head into the house. "MOM!" He bellows.
Mrs. Foster's reply was faint enough that I couldn't hear it, but Gavin shouted, "Can you come get Kellie and Heather?"
He waited another second, the shut the door again and walked back to me.
"Sorry about that." He gives a stiff grin.
I raise my eyebrows.
We are bth quiet a minute, before Gavin takes a deep breath, "OK, so about Sky. I really don't want you seeing him anymore." He looks at me again, his jaw set.
I feel my eyebrows cave in. Is he joking? I'm not sure. "Gavin, you're kidding right?"
I hear his back teeth grind together and he shakes his head. "No. Not kidding." He lifts his hand to my hair and starts to tuck a piece of it behind my ear, but I jerk back away from him, slightly frowning.
"Why?" I ask.
"Cuz."
"I need a better answer than that, Gavin. Sky is one of my best friends." I start to stand up, but Gavin hold onto my hand.
"Don't get mad." His face is carefuk, almost afraid.
"Tell me why, then."
Gavin pauses again, his gaze moving back and forth quickly. "He's dangerous."
I look blankly at him. None of us talked for a long time.
Then I laughed. It was more of a hollow airy are-you-kidding-me laugh than a HAHA-so funny! kind of laugh.
I say, "Gavin, Sky wouldn't hurt a fly. What are you talking about?"
Gavin's adam apple bobs as he swallows. "Well, Nikki, has Sky ever told you about his dad?"
"Not very much." I shake my head as my eyes search Gavin's. They are guarded. I can't tell what he's thinking. What's going on?
Gavin's voice seems far away. "What all has he told you?"
"He told me his dad couldn't care less about what happens to him and his dad is a drunk."
Gavin nods solomly. "Yeah. Has he ever told you about his anger issues?"
My blood freezes. "Who's anger issues?"
"His dad's."
Sky's dad had anger problems? Is that why Sky flinched when my dad was playing fighting with Jamie? Did Sky's dad hit him?
"He never told me." My voice is no higher than a squeak.
"He doesn't like talking about it." Gavin shrugs.
"Wow." I shake my head. "Poor Sky. But what does his dad have to do with Sky being dangerous?"
Gavin looks at me like I'm stupid. "Because if he ever turns out like his dad, he coudl hurt you. OK, here," Gavin's voice lowers to a husky whisper and he leans his head close to mine. "Sky's dad--" He brakes off wirh a sigh and pulls his face away.
"Yeah?" I prompt.
"Have Sky tell you. I want to see how honest he is with you."
I frown again. "But I thought you said you didn't want me around Sky. Not that I'm gonna listen to you."
Gavin frowns back.
"Gavin, seriously, Sky is a super close friend of mine," I say gently.
Gavin's frown deepens. "Alright, let me ask you this. Who has known Sky for over 15 YEARS?" He points to himself. "And who has known Sky about 5 MONTHS?" He turns his finger around and points at me.
I look at it. "That has absolutely no meaning, Gavin."
He huffs loudly and stands up, twisting to look down at me. "Fine, whatever. Go ask Sky what happened to his mom and then see if you still want to be close to him. All I'm doing, Nicolle, is trying to protect you."
I stand up and look at him. He isn't very tall. If I stand on my tippy-toes I'm taller than he is. "Gavin, you're being stupid. Just tell me what any of this has to do with Sky's mom. You keep adding new things into this." I raise my voice.
Gavin slightly shrinks and I am proud that I can intimidate him. "Nikki, darling, I honestly think it would be best of Sky told you. I already said too much."
"Gavin--"
He cuts me off with a wave of his hand. "Please? Go ask him now. I'm sure he'd be thrilled to see you." His tone turns icy.
"What do you mean?"
"Exactly what you think I mean. Sky would be thrilled to see, Nicolle. He likes you."
"Gavin, of course he likes me. I'm one of his best friends." I cross my arms.
"No, I mean he LIKES you."
That stops me short. Sky likes me? Gavin's mistaking. He's lying. "Sky doesn't like me, Gav. That's insane."
Gavin smirks. "Glad you think so. Cuz I've seen the way he looks at you. He more than just likes you."
I grit my teeth. "I don't believe you."
"You don't have to."
We stare at each other, both glaring, when a tiny thought bubble pops into my head.
"That's why you don't want me seeing Sky, huh? Cuz you think he has a crush on me, or whatever." I tell him.
Gavin's cheeks slightly flush. I can't tell why--his eyes are still blocked. "That's not true Nicolle. You should know that. I just--Sky's dangerous."
"I have to disagree."
"With what?"
"With everything you're saying!" I have a sudden urge to smack him. But I don't. I just stand there.
"Fine. I don't care what you think at the moment. Go ask Sky what happened to his mom. Nikki, I'm serious. If he ever turns out like his dad, he could be bad news."
"Sky's dad is Aaron Fletcher, isn't he?" I ask, forcing my facial features to go smooth and unreadable like Sky's. But I don't think I'm doing it right.
"He is." Gavin nods.
"Aaron Fletcher is just about the nicest guy in all of Roanoke. If Sky turns out like his dad, he'd be a success."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa." Gavin holds up his hands. "You just told me you know he couldn't care less about what happens to his own kid and that he's an alcoholic. And I just told you he has anger issues. And now you telling me, if Sky turns out like him, he'd be a success? That's mixed up."
I swallow. I did say those things. Sky did tell me that. Was the anger issues thing true? I wasn't believing anything else Gavin said but....
Everything I have read about Aaron Fletcher, every word I have heard him say was just about...perfect. Maybe Sky is exagerating, playing the victim.
You REALLY think Sky would do that? My mind hisses. I mentally shake my head. Sky's not like that.
My thoughts must be playing clearly on my face, because Gavin says, "It's true, Nikki."
I lick my lips. "Can I go talk to Sky now?"
Gavin nods. "Be my guest."
I nod back at him and start to walk off the porch, when Gavin calls me back. "Wait, your purse is still inside. Want to go get it?"
I shake my head. "I'm gonna see you later tonight, still, right?"
"That's my plan." He smiles.
"Can you just bring it then? Right now my brain is so clogged, I'd end up leaving it Sky's house."
"That's fine."
"OK," I say, as Gavin walks over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist in a tight hug.
I breathe in his scent. He smells like bubble gum and cologne.
He pulls back, grinning a tender smile. "I'll see you later, OK? And I'll make sure the twins don't get in your stuff."
I grin back. "Thanks."
I turn away and jog to my car.
OK, that's it for now! I plan to write what happens when Nicolle gets to to Sky's house soon. In the next few days. But tell me ur thoughts!

More Sky....
Background: OK, so first of all, Trace is Sky's cat. And second, Sabrina is Sky's dad's new girlfriend. Sky met her last night and Sabrina was being nice to him, asking questions, trying to get to know him. She asked a question that set Sky off a bit and he stormed out of the room. If you'd like to hear that part of the story, I'll email it to you.
A soft tap comes from behind my door.
"Huh?" I say.
The door opens a crack and Dad steps in.
His face sends shivers down my back.
He looks unsure of himself, sad. I haven't seen him look that way in...forever.
Dad opens his mouth, then closes it and opens it again, then shuts it. He sighs and puts his hand to the back of his neck. "Can I come in?" He asks. His voice is gentle.
I feel myself start to frown. Why is he acting like this? But I shake it off. I don't sense any fakeness in Dad's tone or look. "Sure." I tell him, pulling my legs up to my body so he can sit on the bed.
He sits at the end, as far away from me as possible, and rests his chin in his hands. He doesn't say anything for a minute and then he sighs again. "Ya know, Sky. Can we talk about Sabrina?" He whispers.
Sabrina? Why? But I just nod. "I guess."
Dad takes another short pause, giving Trace enough time to crawl out from under the bed and jump onto his lap, meowing.
Dad doesn't push him off. He strokes Trace's black fur, then starts talking. "I know you think I'm a bad person for...being close to Sabrina, because she is so much younger than me."
I feel myself frown again. What was Dad doing? He was never like this before.
I swallowed. I could toy with him a bit. Just to make him even more uncomfortable. "How old is Sabrina, Dad?" I ask.
I can see his face flush even in the dim light. "26."
"26?" I repeat. "Dad, you're 52. I think that's just a bit of an age gap don't you?"
"Yes, I do and that's what I'm talking to you about." Dad sounds sharp now, making Trace leap away, stopping across the room to glare at Dad before slinking out the door.
We are both quiet a second, before Dad speaks up. "I'm sorry. Sorry. What I want to tell you is, I really care about Sabrina. She's one of the sweetest girls I've met in awhile."
Yeah, Dad. GIRL is the keyword there. I want to say that. But I don't. I don't say anything. I just listen.
"And, last night, Sky, really hurt her feelings." Dad shuts his mouth and looks at me.
Last night...what was last night? Oh. When Sabrina asks the girlfriend question and I flipped. "That hurt her feelings?" I wonder.
"It did."
I notice Dad doesn't ask why I acted that way about that question. Why I got angry.
"Oh. Sorry." I say.
Dad reaches over and pats my knee. "It's OK. Just, she wants to get to know you, Sky, she really does. She has a good heart. She wants you to like her. She wants to be a friend to you. And you have to admit. That's more than Gabrielle or Sarah or any of the others wanted."
I blinked, but didn't say anything.
Dad bits his lip. "So, all I'm asking is can you just be nice to Sabrina? Give her a chance? For me?"
"Sure." I say. Although, I'm not going to do it for Dad. I'll never do anything for him. But I'll do it for Sabrina.
That's it. Tell me ur thoughts.

Here's a bit more Sky story....
Background: After Nicolle found out that Sky was in a band, she told him how Rachel wanted a local band to play at her party. This is at Rachel's house as Sky's band, PinPoint is auditioning. This is the night after Sky went to dinner at Nicolle's house. :) And this is in Nicolle's point of view.....
As Gavin starts the chorus up again, I look down at Rachel.
She's grinning big, tapping her foot to the music. She looks happy. She likes it.
Sky starts picking up the pace on the drums, beating them quicker as Gavin's voice goes a bit higher, quicker, more forcefull.
I cross my arms, letting my gaze wander to Sky. He's looking up at me, and grins. I start to grin back, but catch myself and look back at Gavin. I don't even want to think about Sky. He's so....weird.
My brain does a flashback to this morning. Sky didn't even awknowlege me. He grunted his hellos and hasn't looked at me till a few seconds ago, when he grinned. My stomach drops. Maybe I have a big nasty zit I didn't see when I woke up. I look at the mirror above Sky's head. Nope, no zit. But my hair's bad. But no different than usual. I sigh and run a hand through it. Dang hair. I hadn't had enough time this morning to do anything special to it.
"Nicolle?" Rachel waves a hand in front of my face, breaking my jumbled thoughts.
"Yes?" I say, a tad too loudly, suddenly realizing the music has stopped and everyone is watching me. I glance at Sky. He is smirking at me, his hair brushed from his eyes, revealing a teasing glitter in that brilliant blue.
"You were lost in your own world." Rachel laughs. "I asked, 'what do you think?'"
I blink. "Of what?"
I hear Sky cough, trying to cover up a snort of laughter, as Gavin, RJ, Spencer and Bryan all laugh out loud. I blush as Rachel gives me a look. "Of THEM." She gestures to the band.
"Oh, yeah! They're really good." I want to say, "Espeically the singer!" And gush giggles about Gavin, but I don't. Instead I say, "They're a lot better than anyone else we've heard so far." I smile up at Gavin.
He grins back, "Well, thanks."
Rachel giggles. "I agree. Do you guys want to play for birthday?"
All the guys, except Sky, beam and nod their heads of shaggy hair eagerly.
Sky sits on his stool, calm as can be and keeps his face turned up to mine. His face is completely expressionless. I try to ignore him. But it's hard to do. I can almost feel his eyes drill through my skull. I swallow, feeling uneasy, and shift from my left leg to my right one and back again.
Rachel gives an excited clap. "Do you guys want anything to drink? I have different kinds of pop, if you'd like." I watch RJ, Gavin, Bryan and Spencer slip off their instruments as Sky stands up swiftly, still keeping a strong hold on his drum sticks.
As Rachel starts to lead the guys into the kitchen, I gather all of my puny teenage girl confidence and poke Gavin's arm to get his attention.
He smiles down at me, his green eyes shining.
My insides feel like they're melting and I have to force my mouth to work properly. "Um, you're really good, Gavin." I squeak.
Gavin's smile widens. "Thanks, hon." He says, raising his hand and running it through my hair, before he follows Rachel into the kitchen.
My face is burning and a big smile is pulling hard at my lips, when I realize Sky is still in the room, looking down at me, slightly scowling.
"Remember yesterday?" He sounds annoyed.
I blink, my smile fading. Of course I remembered yesterday. "What about it?"
Sky itches his head, then puts his hand on the wall beside my head. "I told you to stay away from my friends. They don't have the same thoughts about girls as I do."
I blink. What is he trying to say? "And what are your thoughts about girls?" I sound harsher than I intended.
Sky exhales sharply, letting me smell the mint gum on his breath. His cheeks slightly go red, as if he's embarrassed. "I treat girls with respect." His bangs fall back over his eyes. "So, you'd be smart to stay away from Gavin."
My stomach twists and I feel my eyebrows draw together in a mean glare. Who is he to tell who I can and who I can't like? I barely know him. I push him back away from me. "Shut up, Sky. Leave me alone, OK?" I look up at him, suddenly noticing how much taller he is than me. I only come up to his chin.
Sky opens his mouth to say something, but I turn my back to him and march into the kitchen.
Sky follows.
Rachel has two cans of diet Coke on the counter. I grab one and pop it open, as Sky strolls out the backdoor to stand with his friends. I roll my eyes. Sky wasn't just weird, he was annoying.
I peek out the window at them, Gavin's laughing at something along with everyone else. Except Sky. He looks angry.
I slip out into the humid April air to be with them and stand beside Rachel, sneaking another glance at Sky.
He's inspecting one of his tattoos, ignoring everyone else around him. He senses me watching and looks up, smiling.
I frown at him and he continues to smile at me, revealing white square teeth. One of his front top teeth is largly chipped.
I deepen my frown.
Sky smiles bigger.
What's his problem?
He suddenly steps over to me and stand so close I can feel heat radiating from his body. "What're you thinking about?" He whispers. "It must be intense with such a big frown on your face."
I give him a look. Does he really not know I'm frowning at him? I open my mouth to tell him, then stop. What will Gavin think if he sees us standing so close? I side step away from Sky. "I'm frowning at you."
Sky continues to watch me. "That's not very nice."
"So?"
We look at each other a minute before I say, "You're a good drum player."
That's it! Tell me what u think! :) Nicolle is supposed to have kind of mixed feelings about Sky. IDK if I made that clear enough in here.....

Here's some more of the Sky story.......This time it's in Sky's point of view.
First, a tad bit of a background to the part:
Nicolle and Sky are at Nicolle's friend, Rachel's, 18th birthday party. Nicolle found out Sky's in a band with a few friends and volunteered them to play at Rachel's party. Sky's band, PinPoint, was quite a hit.
I walk over to Nicolle. She notices me coming and turns her head to look up at me. She doesn't smile. But she doesn't frown either. I take that as encouragment. I lean on the porch railing beside her and give a contented sigh.
I don't say anything. I wait for her to start talking.
She starts. "You were really good tonight."
"Thanks." I glance down at her, through my hair.
A loud shriek comes from inside the house, then the sound of shattering glass and people laughing.
Nicolle jumps.
"Doesn't sound to good in there, does it?" I ask, turning to face the backyard, instead of the house.
She shakes her head.
"Is that why you're out here?"
"I guess. Mostly, though, I'm just not a people person."
"I noticed that." I nod.
Sometone turns up the music on Rachel's stereo up really high and I can feel the deep bass vibrating from all the way across the house.
We both fall quiet.
Quiet. Something I'm comfortable with. Quiet means good. Quiet means no Dad yelling and swearing and crashing through the house. Quiet means peace. I can't tell if Nicolle is quiet or not. I decide to try and find out. "Do you like loud music?"
Nicolle smirks. "No. Anothe reason I came outside."
"Do you like to dance?" I almost smile, remembering long ago when Dad would twirl Mom around the house. They were both laughing then. It was loud. But a different kind of loud than Dad had become.
"Nope."
"Do you want to dance?" I look at Nicolle full on, brushing the prickly hair from my eyes.
She frowns. "What do you mean?"
I shrug. "Exactly what I said."
"I can't dance." Nicolle gives a tense chuckle and looks away from me.
"You don't have to. I can lead."
Nicolle is quiet for what seems like forever. And strangly, this is one silence I don't like. She finally looks back at me. "This really isn't dancing music. Or the place to dance?"
I grin. "Any music is dancing music."
"No thanks."
I'm surprised that I feel the deep sting of dissapointment. I hide it well, though, forcing my lips into a grin. "No one's watching."
Nicolle wrinkles her nose. "Sky, I really don't know how. I'd end up stepping on your feet."
I cock my head. "Like I said, I know how. I can lead. It's easy."
She pauses. "What KIND of dancing?"
"Waltz?"
Nicolle laughs and I feel my cheeks burn. It didn't sound stupid to me until she laughed. "This is certainly not WALTZING music!" Her voice is loud, shrill, giggly.
I grunt. "Fine. You don't have too."
"I know I don't."
The song playing turned to a slower yet angry Hawk Nelson song. There was more breaking glass and a guy laughing.
I turn from Nicolle to go back inside, see what is happening.
"Sky!" Nicolle calls me back over to her and my stomach flips.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"You don't have to leave." She looks up at me, into my eyes.
I blink, looking back at her. I wear more eyeliner than she does. I let my hair fall over my eyes again and look away.
"Um, do you want to dance?" Nicolle sounds heisitant now, unsure.
"What?"
"If you really want to, you can dance with me. I guess. Since no one's watching I can make a complete idiot of myself." She rolls her eyes and runs a hand through her hair.
I smirk. "I;m going to make an idiot out of myseld too then, huh?"
Nicolle smirks right back at me. "Oh yeah."
I keep quiet and take one of her hands in mine. I swallow. Her hands are so tiny. Mine envelope her's almost completely. It has been a long time since I have held a girl's hand. The softness of them surprise me. I take hold of Nicolle's other hand and Holly's cheeks flush pinker than her lips.
"Ready?" I ask.
She nods.
I start slowly, twirling her in a small square, noticing her eyes are locked on my arms.
"Can I ask you a question?" She says.
"Yep."
"You said you're 18, right?"
"Yep."
She lifts her gaze to my face. "Do you have any college plans, or something?"
I blink. That was unexpected. I swallow. "No I don't, actually."
"Hm." Nicolle slightly frowns.
I continue, "My dad really could care less about what happens to me. He is obsessed with himself, more than anyone should be obsessed with themselves. But my mom, she was positive I'd get into Harvard or Yale, or something. I guess that's not gonna happen." My blood begins to boil. Just thinking Dad's name was enough for me to get furious.
I took a deep breath and start spinning Nicolle around faster and faster, until everything around us is a blur.
"What do you mean, 'was positive?" As soon as that escaped her mouth, Nicolle gasped. "I'm sorry," she said. "That's a bit personal, isn't it?"
I grin. "I don't mind." I lie.
My stings. I wonder if anybody misses Mom as much as I do. Probably not. Josh and Amber don't seem to care much. And Dad for certain doesn't care. He doesn't care whether she was alive or dead. That's why he killed her. He didn't care then and he doesn't care now.
"You OK?" Nicolle's tender voice break my thoughts and I suddenly relize we had stopped dancing. We are standing still, our fingers still entwined.
I pull my hannd back. "Why?"
"Your face got all sad."
I gulp, feeling like I can't breath. I don't say anything for a long minute. I concentrate on breathing. Breathing is good. Breathing means life. Breathing is something Mom doesn't do anymore. "Sorry," I say to Nicolle. "My mom died a few years ago. It's just still kinda hard to think about her."
Nicolle's face glows with sympathy. "Oh. I'm sorry."
I shrug. "It's OK." Another lie.
Alrighty, that's all I have so far. BTW, Josh and Amber are Sky's older brother and sister. He's the baby of the family by about 10 years. But tell me what u think!
:)
"Waltz?"

So, this is part of a story I've been writing in on and off. It's kinda hard to write....maybe cuz of the past of Sky's life. Which I'm not gonna tell u about here. But this is a scence from the book I like, so I'm putting it up here for you to read.....tell me what u think!
Here's a quick back ground of the part ur about to read:
Nicolle met Sky a few days ago at the library, where he volunteers ans Nicolle's mom works. He has just moved to town and she's now at his house, bringing him a pizza.
Suddenly the door swings open and Sky is standing just inches from me. His head is tilted downwards. I think he is looking at me, but I'm not sure. His shaggy bangs cover his eyes, completely.
A small grin appears on his face. "Nicolle, right?"
I nod, wondering how he can see me through that mop of hair. Maybe he can't see me. Maybe he reconizes people by smell. Creepy.
He steps back from the door. "Do you want to come in?"
"Sure." My voice cracks. I suddenly feel really shy. I step into the small trailor, keeping my gaze on Sky's face. Surprised to realize he's not half bad looking.
Sky lets the door shut with a bang. He lifts his hand up and brushes his bangs to the side of his pale face.
I swallow, glimpsing his eyes. They're blue. The brightest blue I have ever seen. He has them outlined in thick black eyeliner, making them huge owl eyes.
He looks at the pizza box, an eyebrow raised. He remains quiet, waiting for me to say something.
I shove the pizza box into his hands. "Here. This is for you."
He raises his eyes from the box to me. "Why?"
"Think of it as a..." I fumbled for the right words. "House warming gift. Since your new here, I guess."
Sky stares at me a few moments. I start to feel uneasy and grab for the door handle, ready to dash out of the room if he tries anything. I look at his face. One of his eyes in still uncovered by hair.
Suddenly he laughs softly. "You bought me a pizza for that?" His bangs fall back over both eyes, hiding that radient blue.
"Well, sure." I blush.
"What kind is it?" He opens the pizza box a crack and peeks inside.
"Pepperoni." I answer.
"Cool." Sky turns his back to me and walks over to a tiny couch in the back of the room, where he sits down, setting the pizza beside him.
He throws the top of the box back and grabs a slice, then extends it to me. "Want one?"
"No thanks."
"You should. You bought it."
"No," I blink. "I bought it for you."
"And I thank you for that." He suddenly stuffs half the piece of pizza into his mouth.
"Why did you move here?" I ask casually, watching Sky chew and swallow before he answers.
"I dunno. My dad lives in Roanoke. I just wanted to get away from everything. The city, ya know?"
I almost laugh. "Roanoke? You want to get out of Roanoke? That's not exactly a big enough city to be considered a...CITY!"
Sky shrugs. "To me it is. I've lived there my whole life."
My eyes study Sky a second. "You don't look like someone who would move to the center of all hillbilly hell." He has his dyed shaggy black hair, his eyeliner, his chains. His full sleeve tattoos, his lip rings.....
Sky shurgs again. "Neither do you."
I don't say anything.
We both are quiet. So quiet, Sky eats three more pieces of pizza before we say anything.
It's me who breaks the silence. "One more thing before I go." I say.
Sky looks over at me, pushing his raven wing colored hair from his eyes. "You changed your mind and want a piece of pizza?"
I shake my head, "I--"
He cuts me off. "You want a goodbye kiss? Well, I'd be happy to give you one." He tosses a slice of pepperoni into his mouth.
That catches me off guard. I stammer, "N-n-no."
Sky doesn't say anything, but sits up, digs something from his pocket, then throws it at me,
I catch it instintivly and look down at my hand. It's a tiny silver foiled wrapped Hershey's Kiss. I look up at Sky. "What's this?"
He grins, kicking his Vans off his feet. "A goodbye Kiss."
"Oh." I take a deep breath, hoping to regain any little self poise I had left. "What I was going to say was, would you like to come to dinner at my house tomorrow? My mom wouldn't mind." I glanced around his house. He had boxes piled high against every wall. "And you don't look un-packed enough to have a real dinner."
Sky pauses. "You still live with your parents? How old are you?" Is there a hint of ice behind his voice?
"Um, 16."
"Oh." His voice is warm again, carefree. "I'm 18. And yes, I'd like that. Dinner I mean. How about if I just follow your mom home from work tomorrow?"
"That'd be fine, but she's not working tomorrow." I licked my lips. "I could just come get you or whatever."
Sky smiles. "That would work too. So you'll pick me up at 5?"
"OK."
"OK, then."
There is a brief pause, before I clear my throat.
"I'll go now. See you tomorrow?"
"I'll be here."
"OK. Bye."
"See ya, Nicolle."
I slip out of the door and shut it behind me.
OK! That's it! Tell me what u think! :D. And tell me what u think of Sky. I LOVE him. But I wanna know what u think!

I HATE titling posts! Why do I even do it??
I came up with this idea yesterday. I think I like it and I know Kelsi'll like it--it has horses! :D. 8 of them. It's about a 16 year old girl named Hayley, who lives in a small hick town in Virginia. Her dad gets her a job down the street they live on, where a middle aged lady, whose husband died, has 8 horses. Hayley's next door neighbor, who she never met before, Brayden already works there.
So basically it's about Hayley and Brayden. But of course I did put a twist to my normal type of story like this. But I'm not gonna tell u! I'll have to write it and then u can read it! But tell me what u think so far. It's awesome cuz it takes place on my street, so I can post pictures so u can see what it looks like.
What do u think? I think this one would be fun to write....and I'd do it in Hayley's point of view....which would be actually a tad difficult for me. I'm so used to boy points of views now! But I'll figure out how to make her better than my other girl characters I have failed before. :P. I'm not good at girls if u remember. :P. But anyway...tell me what u think, OK? :D

So as you know, I haven't written really anything. But I did come up with a few sentences that I actually took from some other things I've done. These sentences I like WAY like and I want to try to form a story around them.
So, here are the sentences. They have to relation to each other. But tell me which ones you like and which ones sound interesting.....which ones are powerful.
1.) I didn't know whether to love them or hate them.
2.) I coiled my hands into fists, ignoring my sweaty palms.
3.) Her face mirrored bitter sadness. I could only guess why.
4.) She looks so weak. So vulnerable.
5.)...anger bursting my veins. I hoped he went to hell. I hoped he burned forever.
6.) It took a second for that to sink in. And when it did, I felt like crying. Happy tears. So, I let them flood my eyes.
7.) A strangled laugh escaped my mouth.
8.) We both rolled several feet, our legs twisted together, from the sudden impact.
9.) For the millionth time that night, I felt my face go red.
10.) I shook my head, butterflies hatching inside me. What was he talking about?
11.) He said the words slowly, unsure of himself.
12.)....my heart starting to thud so hard, I was sure it was going to fly right out of me.
13.) The ocean was cold and gray looking that day, thick clouds, dark and heavy with un-shed rain, hung low.....
14.) For the sake of my sanity.
15.) He didn't show surprisment that I was speaking to him in a calm civil tone.
16.) Those pale blue eyes that burned with hatred for me. Hatred I felt toward him also reflected. He knew I hated him.
